No Christmas dinner is complete without Thorner’s Pigs in Blankets. This 400g pack contains 8 succulent pork sausages, each wrapped in a rasher of bacon, ready to roast until sizzling and golden.

As the bacon crisps up in the oven, it locks in the flavour and juiciness of the sausage, giving you that irresistible combination of savoury, smoky and salty that makes pigs in blankets a festive favourite. Serve them alongside your Christmas turkey with roast potatoes, sprouts and plenty of gravy, or pile them onto a platter for a party buffet or Christmas Eve nibbles. They’re also brilliant in Boxing Day sandwiches with leftover turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Whatever the occasion, they’re sure to be the first thing to disappear from the table.

All orders placed will be ready for collection from 12pm on Wednesday 23rd December at your chosen store. Please note that orders must be placed by Sunday 13th December. £50 minimum order applies.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

To grill from chilled, preheat your grill to a moderate heat and remove all packaging. Place the pigs in blankets on a grill pan and cook for 19 minutes, turning regularly until the bacon is crisp and golden. To oven cook from chilled, preheat your oven to 190°C / 170°C fan / Gas 5 and remove all packaging. Place the pigs in blankets on a baking tray on the middle shelf and cook for 30 minutes, turning halfway through. Whichever method you use, make sure they’re piping hot throughout, with no pink meat, before serving.

Pork (58%), Water, Breadcrumbs (Rice Flour, Gram Flour, Maize Starch, Salt, Dextrose), Potato Starch, Dextrose, Salt, Yeast Extract, Spice (White Pepper, Coriander, Nutmeg), Emulsifier (E451(i)), Preservative (E221) (SULPHITES), Sage, Spice Extracts, Antioxidant (E300)), Streaky Bacon (20%)(Pork, Water, Salt, Preservatives (Sodium Nitrite, Sodium Ascorbate). Filled into beef devro protein casings.
